Import post and terms metadata from wpSEO to SEOPress

With SEOPress, you can import all your metadata from wpSEO, including:

  • Title tags
  • Meta description
  • Facebook Open Graph tags (title, description and image thumbnail)
  • Twitter tags (title, description and image thumbnail)
  • Meta Robots (noindex, nofollow)
  • Main keyword (ie: target keyword)
  • Canonical URL
  • Redirect URL

To do that, go to SEO, Tools, Plugins, and select wpSEO.

Click Migrate now.

That’s it!

Now you can disable and remove wpSEO plugin from your WordPress admin.

Note that it’s important to not have 2 SEO plugins running at the same time to avoid conflicts.

WARNING: Migration will delete/upgrade all SEOPress posts metadata. wpSEO datas will not be deleted.
