Import post and terms metadata from Yoast SEO to SEOPress

With SEOPress, you can import all your metadata from Yoast SEO, including:

  • Title tags
  • Meta description
  • Facebook Open Graph tags (title, description and image thumbnail)
  • Twitter tags (title, description and image thumbnail)
  • Meta Robots (noindex, nofollow…)
  • Focus keyword
  • Canonical URL

To do that, go to SEO, Tools, Plugins, and select Yoast SEO.

Click Migrate now.

That’s it!

Now you can disable and remove Yoast SEO plugin from your WordPress admin.

Note that it’s important to not have 2 SEO plugins running at the same time to avoid conflicts.

WARNING: Migration will delete/upgrade all SEOPress posts metadata. Yoast datas will not be deleted.
